Wales Interactive is proud to announce our partnership with Scottish developers Ant Workshop to bring the roguelike deckbuilder Into the Restless Ruins to PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch in Spring 2025. The game’s new demo will be featured in Steam Next Fest this February, accompanied by a brand-new trailer showcasing the game’s unique mechanics, strategic gameplay, and rich Scottish and Celtic folklore.
This collaboration between two award-winning studios from Wales and Scotland unites our passion for innovative game design and rich storytelling. Together, we’re celebrating our shared cultural heritage—highlighting voices and traditions rarely represented in video games.

Into the Restless Ruins is a roguelike deckbuilder where you create the dungeon you fight through. Each night, use a deck of cards to expand a labyrinth of ruins, auto-battle through your design, and harvest Glimour to earn The Maiden’s blessing —all inspired by Scottish folklore, myths and legends.
